André joined the team at Mangawhai Osteopathy in February 2021.
André has over 14 years’ experience working as an osteopath and academic in New Zealand, the UK, and Australia. After coming back to New Zealand, he worked in Auckland in Albany and Orewa before joining the team in Mangawhai.
Until last year he also worked as an academic at Unitec, teaching on the osteopathy course, and he is still involved in research supervision. His previous academic experience includes working at the University College of Osteopathy (formerly the British School of Osteopathy in London where Jacquelyn trained), and at Southern Cross University in New South Wales and Queensland. His teaching experience is wide-ranging and has included running a student clinic, teaching pain science, clinical pathology and the theory and practice of osteopathy, and research supervision.
He currently works full-time at Mangawhai Osteopathy, and enjoys working across all scopes of practice, including paediatrics, pregnancy, and adults.
André lives in Matakana with his wife and two young sons, is a keen surfer, and enjoys taking care of their property, keeping fit, meditating, reading, listening to a variety of podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.
He shares many interests and a similar philosophy to that of Jacquelyn and Ben, and joins us in delivering exceptional care in Mangawhai.
