Speech Sound Screening Day
When children start to use words they often mix up sounds and make errors. Sounds are usually developed following particular patterns, and they gradually become easier to understand. What if they don’t? At what point should you start worrying?
As parents, we have enough to worry about. If you find your child’s speech difficult to understand, they aren’t picking up new sounds, or you have to interpret for them, it might be time to check those sounds.
I’m having a special “Speech Sound Screening” day during the Easter school holidays. Book an assessment to check on their speech sounds and learn what to expect next with an experienced Speech-Language Therapist.
