Becoming pregnant is one of the most incredible journeys that the human body ever undertakes! During pregnancy however, your body will undergo many dramatic changes. Many of these will put considerable stress on your body. Some women for example, experience back or pelvic pain, sciatica, shortness of breath or other discomforts. My aim as an osteopath is to assist you in your journey through pregnancy as your body changes, including minimizing any pain as your body grows and develops.
In particular, pelvic alignment and mobility is important for any birth and I am able to help you achieve this. After the birth, I am also able to assist you with potential issues such as pelvic, neck or back pain, pelvic floor weaknesses and any other discomfort that you may face as a result of your pregnancy or caring for your new baby.
